TC Kayaks Lodge Based Sea Kayak Tour Overview...
Not everybody interested in Orca whales enjoy camping in a tents. Our Lodge Based Trips are three days and three nights. We use our own shuttle boat and either single or double sea kayaks to paddle through sheltered waters and quiet passages where wildlife is abundant. One day it could be Orca Whales we see, the next Humpback Whales or perhaps Black Bears along the shoreline. Each day we venture out into the waters of Johnstone Strait to experience the unique spirit of the area by sea kayak.
Each day the weather and the wildlife will combine to offer us an experience that you can only get during the summers in these pristine waters. Each day eagles, harbour seals, and otter are seen at close range.

Because each day is valuable we monitor the movement of the salmon to ensure that we do not miss any wildlife experience that might occur. We paddle along rugged shorelines visiting secluded beaches and hike to vantage points for some awesome views.
These locations are selected to give us the greatest opportunity to see resident Orca in their natural habitat. Often if we are fortunate enough we could not only observe the passage of the Orca but perhaps observe them socializing and playing.
